During his time as a Knesset member, Dov Lipman opened the doors of his office to english speaking Olim, working to assist them individually and to advance their rights as a community. Dov founded Yad L’Olim to continue serving as a voice in the Israeli government for Olim from all backgrounds. Dov and his government relations team are driving policy changes to provide Olim (immigrants) with the tools that they need to succeed in Israel.
Yad L'Olim exists to provide Olim from all over the world with thorough personal absorption assistance and guidance as they acclimate to life in Israel. Navigating complex government bureaucracies can be challenging for both new and veteran Olim, and Yad L'Olim is proud to be the organization that Olim can feel comfortable turning to. Yad L'Olim provides free educational resources and programs, personal assistance navigating the healthcare, education, and army systems, as well as government advocacy for the Olim community as a whole.
In March 2022, Yad L'Olim opened a special division to provide guidance to the tens of thousands of Olim expected to arrive in Israel from areas affected by the war in Ukraine. Our Ukrainian and Russian speaking staff members assist these new Olim with employment, finding a place to live, and serving as their advisors and guides throughout the process of getting settled into their new lives in Israel.

The history of Yad L'Olim
Під час пандемії коронавірусу тисячі репатріантів, їхніх сімей та євреїв з усього світу звернулися до колишнього депутата Дова Ліпмана за допомогою в подоланні складних обмежень на подорожі, які було введено урядом Ізраїлю. Дов і його команда провели багато безсонних ночей, відповідаючи на прохання про возз'єднання родин. Він повернувся до активної роботи і почав ходити на засідання комітету Кнесету і вимагав чітких роз’яснень процедур для того, щоб допомогти родинам возз’єднатися. Йому вдалося вплинути на зміни державної політики на користь імігрантської громади, та прохання про допомогу продовжували надходити. Саме тоді він вирішив заснувати благодійну організацію Yad L’Olim, щоб мати можливість допомоги ще більшій кількості репатріантів орієнтуватися в ізраїльській бюрократичній системі, а також представляти репатріантів, їхні родини та євреїв зі всього світу.
